The Portrait Session:
Where are you based?
I am based between London and Surrey but I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK.
What is included in the portrait
session?
A morning or afternoon portrait session, no limit to the number of photographs taken during this time, a private online gallery and a presentation of the images from your session in the comfort of your own home.
What time are the portrait sessions & how long do they last?
Morning sessions start at 8am and afternoon sessions vary depending on the time of year. There is no fixed time but on average between two to three hours.
Where would the photo session take place?
Anywhere you choose from your back garden to the London Eye! Normally we would start the session at a local location and then head back to your home for a snack break and a change of clothing and then continue with the portrait session.
I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK but long distances will incur extra time and travel charges. Please contact me for a quotation if you are thinking of having a session out of the Greater London and Surrey area.
Are there a maximum number of people per session?
Not in one family. If you are thinking of having a large family group or generation photograph, please contact me to discuss.
Where do the studio sessions take place?
Studio sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. On the day of your session I will bring a portable studio set up with a choice of background colours. I ideally need 9ft x 9ft of cleared space for a studio session.
If we would like a studio and lifestyle session, do you photograph them on the same day?
Yes, I do.
What should we wear?
Neutral clothes are best, nothing too busy or fussy. Try to avoid large patterns, high collars or polo necks. Most importantly you need to be comfortable. I would suggest a change of clothing to add variety to your session. A bit of fancy dress always goes down well & not just for the children! For family group portraits I suggest wearing similar colour tones to give a cohesive look.
Are we able to reschedule?
If it is raining I would suggest we still go ahead with the session, we would do some photographs indoors and there are some wonderful images to be captured in the rain. If a family member is unwell, I will be happy to reschedule if given sufficient notice.
Are there any hidden costs?
If you are having a studio session and you live within the congestion charge zone or have parking meters outside your property, I kindly ask that you pay these costs as I will been transporting the studio equipment by car. Postage and packaging will be added to your order in relation to weight.
Are you covered by insurance if something happened to go wrong?
Yes, I am fully comprehensively covered.
