Soon there will be a whole new-look website & blog packed with far more information, details, links, new portrait galleries, client log in galleries & more.
I will also be introducing my wedding & still life galleries.
I am so looking forward to introducing the new look.
There may be a few long gaps in the blog while the website is under construction, so please bear with us.
In the meantime have a most wonderful summer & many summer images to make an appearance soon.

Here are some tender & loving moments shared between Mum & gorgeous baby ‘A’. I had visited the family for their portrait session presentation (7th June blog entry) & as baby ‘A’ was asleep for most of the family portrait session, I took some more photographs of the new baby girl.
It is truly amazing how much they change in just a few weeks.
On this day ‘A’ was wide awake & very ready to have her photo taken…. a little star with many smiles to share.

Below is an article I wrote for a wonderful parenting magazine Child of London July/August edition, which is jammed full of exciting things to do over the summer holidays with your children, great ideas for days out, places to eat & stay with little ones, shopping & gifts, educational activities & schools etc etc… & my 10 top tips for photographing your children this summer. You will find a copy of the magazine in schools, children’s shops, businesses & libraries, or click on the ‘Child of London’ link: Child of London magazine
Have a wonderful summer & happy snapping!

Wishing all Dads a very happy Father’s Day this Sunday
And to my wonderful, wise & wholly lovable Dad …. I love you dearly
‘There’s something like a line of gold thread running through a man’s words when he talks to his daughter, and gradually over the years it gets to be long enough for you to pick up in your hands and weave into a cloth that feels like love itself’

It was that time of year again where I jet set to the other side of the world for a working holiday, only this time it was extended due to the volcanic ash scenario, hence the huge gap in blog entries
After a lengthy 30 hour journey (I took the first flights I could get as it was all so unprecictable) I am now back with a mountain of editing which I guess is my comeupance for such a lengthly holiday!
I will be posting sneak previews from shoots in South Africa slowly but surely…. as well as trying to get the new website designed & ready to go for the summer
Here is a great colourful pic taken on Durban beach, I came across this jolly & tuneful group at 5am whilst preparing for a family beach session… shoots start early on that side of the world because of the fast rising & powerful light….. it is such a beautiful time of day but 8:30am starts seem to have a whole new meaning now??

With the first signs of spring appearing as the clouds made way for some golden sunshine, early Sunday morning I met with the lovely ‘S’ family for some family portraits. They chose a morning session which includes both studio & location photographs.
Little boy ‘S’ was the star of the show, as you can see from the pictures, he loved every minute & stole the limelight. We managed to do nearly a 3 hour session at which point most children have had ‘enough already’! but ‘S’ wanted to keep going & said at the end of the session “more photos lady”!
And I could have continued photographing him (& listening to his fascinating running commentary!) all day too.
I had a wonderful time, it was a pleasure to photograph your lovely family.
I am pleased we waited for the long winter to pass & we were rewarded a beautiful day for the long wait!
Here are a few of my favourites from the studio session…. location photographs still to come….
