Storme Sabine Photography

I thrive on the art of photography, the history of the photograph, the genius that is the camera, the technology yesterday and today, the print, the observation and perception of what makes time stand still and has the ability to tell an in depth story or give a glimpse into places and people unknown and I marvel at how the photograph can document life events. As a portrait photographer I am inspired by the uniqueness of us as individuals and this is why each portrait session is bespoke for each client.

In the past I have worked as a ship’s photographer, a photographer’s agent, a production manager and a studio manager but I was determined to be behind the camera rather than behind the scenes so I braved the change and departed from the world of media. I worked part time whilst working towards establishing Storme Sabine Photography, which is an ongoing project!

I love the outdoors, travel, good ol’ fashioned home cooking, the beauty and art of light, simplicity and symmetry. I embrace new challenges and I am always on the lookout for new projects so if you have any original, wonderful or simply unique ideas to add to the creativity of a shoot, I would love to hear from you…. let’s create something fabulous together.

Shortly I intend to add a new section to the website to share with you a glimpse into the charitable undertaken in our communities and around the world. At the age of 15 I became involved in working voluntarily for various childrens’ charities in South Africa and I am prepared to freely contribute my services to charities both there and in the UK. If you know a charity that could benefit from my photo services do please contact me.
