The mini turned 50 this year & we partook in the London to Brighton mini rally on Sunday for the first time…. something that I never thought I would quite get in to, but what a fun day it turned out to be. It was an early start as you can see from the pictures, still dark on arrival at 4:30am!! Some fantastic photo opportunities, full of colour & variety & some great characters too with their pride & joy little motors…. they estimate around 3500 minis in total on the day! The weather was a complete mixed bag of wind, rain, sun, rain again then blue skies…. There was a real sense of community on the day, an overall love & appreciation & patriotism for this great (& cute!) piece of British inginuity. Already planning for next year!
It was great to photograph R again, a whole 6 years after the last photographs I took of him…. have a look at the end of this entry to see a much younger R! He’s obviously loved his hooded tops since young! His fantastic animated expressions have helped create fun & spirited images & make my job good fun too! His favourite, favourite top turned out to be a huge success, such vibrancy & colour worked well in the early morning light & saturated green park surroundings & I particularly like how the colours & bold design reflects in the window shot. Thanks for being a great model R, hope you like your photos.

I’m in the process of designing my new card & this is one of the images that will appear on the front of the card, I can’t help smiling everytime I look at it.
I thought with this rather miserable weather we’ve been having over the last couple of days I’d share with you this happy photo of these cute & cheerful cousins.
